Rifle Middle School is seeking a Significant Support Needs Program Teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. Candidates must possess or be eligible for a Colorado Teaching License, and be highly qualified in SPED with appropriate endorsements. 

Qualified candidates will need Special Education certification, leading and supervising paraprofessional staff, create/write IEPs, work with parents and alll stakehorlders effectively, a team player with strong communitcation skills.

As part of our district’s hiring process, we require all applicants to participate in a program that helps us identify a teacher’s strengths and areas of development. The Educators Professional Inventory or EPI is used by our district administrators with new teachers to help identify teacher’s strengths and challenges, and helps us provide a unique and tailored support system in regard to professional development and the mentoring experience. 

 Please note, the EPI consists of approximately 100 questions, and will take about 90 minutes to complete. Once started, this survey must be completed in one sitting. Your application will not be considered complete until the EPI has been completed. If you are applying for multiple positions, please note you will only need to complete the EPI once.
