Salary and Benefits Considerations: 

This is a stipend position eligible for pay based on the District's extra pay schedule. Experience coaching the sport will be taken into account for pay purposes both in district and out of district experience. Out-of-District experience given at the rate of 1.5% above the starting salary for a maximum of 10 years. Experience is calculated per the Coaching Placement Guidelines. Maximum of in-district and out-of-district experience totals 15 years. Rates of pay are determined by calculating the correct % of the base for the given activity after experience credit has been taken into account. Increases are calculated on the current base rate plus the additional year of experience up to a maximum of 15 years unless negotiations specify otherwise. The current base rate is set as the BA starting salary listed on the Certified schedule.

 

Garfield Re-2 School District offers a PERA retirement contribution plan.
