Position Summary: The middle school counselor supports students with their academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs as they progress through grades six to eight. The middle school counselor works as a leader and collaborator in the school with a team of teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, parents and district office staff with the purpose of providing equitable and quality educational services for each and every student. Where possible, the counselor works to provide services that are preventative and proactive in nature to meet the diverse needs of students. The counselor is also an active participant in handling crisis situations that will arise within the school and, at times, the community.

*In district experience salary range: $46,087-$127,734.60
*No in district experience salary range: $46,087-$69,135.60
