Job Summary: The Long Term Substitute Teacher assumes the full professional responsibilities of a lead teacher for the duration of the assignment. Specifically the long term substitute will take the place of the Physical Education Teacher at Rifle High School.

This includes independently developing and implementing lesson plans, delivering curriculum in alignment with District standards, conducting student assessments, managing all grading, and maintaining proactive communication with parents and guardians. The incumbent works collaboratively with building leadership, departments, and support staff to ensure the continuous delivery of high-quality educational services for every student.

Salary: $212 per day
