The Garfield School District No. Re-2 is an exciting place to be. Student achievement is improving and teachers and staff are actively engaged in providing instruction to nearly 5,000 students everyday. You must obtain a Substitute Authorization License issued by Colorado Department of Education before an interview can be scheduled. 

 

*Please note, obtaining a Colorado teaching license or substitute authorization does not guarantee employment with Garfield School District RE-2 as a substitute teacher.*

It can take 10-12 weeks for applications to be processed through the Colorado Department of Education for this licensure.
