Come join our Garfield Re-2 School District team as a Day to Day or Long-Term Substitute within our District! 

Day to Day Substitutes serve as needed and have the opportunity to pick up different jobs daily at different schools. Long-Term Substitutes can be assigned to cover a short term assignment such as a maternity leave! 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education and Experience:

You must be willing to obtain or are pending Substitute Authorization License issued by the Colorado Department of Education before you are eligible to begin employment with Garfield School District Re-2. You will also be required to submit fingerprints for a background check through the CO Department of Education as part of the application process.

The daily rate for Day to Day substitute teachers set by the Board of Education is $130.00 per day for those with a valid CO substitute license. Those that have a valid CO teaching license are eligible for $175.00 per day. 

 

Garfield Re-2 School District offers a PERA retirement contribution plan.
