Position Summary: Responsible for providing special education students instruction in settings that allow a continuum of services from self-contained instruction to full inclusion in the general classroom through consultation and/or collaboration and/or co-teaching, with assigned general education teachers, to provide modifications and accommodations per students’ Individual Education Plan Program (IEP). Responsible for working effectively with a team comprised of paraprofessionals, teachers,administrators, parents and District office staff with the purpose of providing quality educational services for each and every student, each and every day, without exception.

* no in district experience salary range: $44,731-$67,102
* in district experience salary range: $44,731-$123,977

Path 1-Alternative Licensure- If you have a bachelor's degree, we can enroll you in an online, alternative licensure program that is low cost with high level training!
Path 2- Long Term Substitute- Only requires a sub license and you would receive on the job training: Sub license
Path 3- Apprentice Teacher of Record- If you are interested in completing your bachelors degree and becoming a teacher, the Colorado Department of Education is partnering with the Department of Labor to create a Teacher Apprentice Program.
