Elk Creek Elementary is located in New Castle, Colorado, which serves as the gateway to the Western Colorado Rocky Mountains and is located along the Colorado River. New Castle is a charming community with strong values set amongst the beauty of the mountains.

Position Summary: Responsible to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program based on the Colorado Academic Standards for the Visual Arts in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences and establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities. Responsible for working effectively with a team comprised of paraprofessionals, teachers, administrators, parents and District office staff with the purpose of providing quality educational services for each and every student, each and every day, without exception.

Status: Part Time, 165 Days Per Year, 4.5 hours per day

Salary Range:

*In district experience range-$22,365.50 (BA+0 step 0) to $61,988.50 (PhD Step 40)

*No in district experience salary range- $22,365.50 (BA+0 step 0) to $33,551 (PhD Step 9)

Salary Schedules
